TAC Developments has handed over the keys to our third completed development this year. Hoole Lane, the 29-home site in Banks, Lancashire, has been developed with One Vision and is known as Old School Close. The showhouse opened in March – you can have a look here and book a visit – and the remaining 28 of the houses were handed over in May.
Dave Griffiths, TAC director, says: ‘We’re delighted to hand the keys to our latest complete development to our clients OVH. Old School Close is a mixture of 29 rented and shared ownership properties, and will become a key part of the local community.’
The site attracted press attention earlier this year as local school pupils buried a time capsule in the development’s foundations. Eight competition winners from St Stephens C of E Primary School, saw the time capsule buried in a ceremony in February. Designed to give future generations a glimpse of Banks in 2017, the school’s pupils collected contents, including issues of local newspapers, a school photograph and school tie, a Lego model, and a popular book.
Students also completed a project about living in Banks, and designed a futuristic family home to show what they thought would be built in 50 years’ time.
Griffiths says: ‘Old School Close sits at the heart of Banks village, and has proven very popular with tenants and home owners alike.’
