The first quarter of 2018 has proved extremely busy, with a raft of developments reaching completion, and lots of new projects in the pipeline.
Hoole Lane in Banks, Lancashire – our 29-property development for One Vision – was the first successful development for our sister company AGB Projects. That will also reach the end of its maintenance period in June this year. The completed scheme is now known as Old School Close.
Similarly, Cassino Road in Huyton was handed over to our client Knowsley Housing Trust in November; whilst over in Southport, Windsor Road, a 19-property development for One Vision Housing, was handed over February 2018 and both are now in their maintenance period.
Also in Southport, Folkestone Road – built for Chorley Community Housing – is completing in stages this spring. Seven homes, including two houses and five bungalows, were handed over at the end March, and the final nine flats will be ready to hand over by mid-May.
Our big development in North Liverpool on the site of the former Notre Dame school will be handed over in phases between May and November this year. The site, which we’re developing alongside LMH, is a major regeneration project in the city, and will create a range of 76 new homes, including houses, flats, bungalows and three-storey town houses for affordable rent and shared ownership. As this is such a large project the homes are being finished in phases and access work to phase one is being completed next, once the utilities for the site have been put in.
Of our new developments, our site in Northwich for ten properties is still ongoing. The project, for Weaver Vale, will see ten homes built for affordable rent.
In Halton, our joint project with Magenta and LHT will see 121 new homes developed for mixed use – part rent, part shared ownership. We are targeting a start on site towards the end of summer 2018.
We’re also working on an exciting city living scheme in Liverpool’s current property hotspot, the Baltic Triangle. With a site confirmed, the new high rise development will tower up to 12 storeys, creating over 300 flats.
As the size of TAC and complexity of the projects we’re working on grows, we are in the process of evolving into a group structure. A group set-up will give added piece of mind and improved service to our clients from dedicated specialist branches of the group as we ramp up our pace of development.
